Phil is very friendly and knowledgable. Did the job when he said he would and in the time that he said it would take. Nothing was too much for him and everything done with great skill. Both ponds that he built are thriving wildlife habitats and the little wooden jetties work amazingly well. Phil even added a small log cabin for us nestled in the banks above the pond beside the stream that he created to replenish the water in the pond. He clearly loves his work and he cares....

Phil and his team provided a brilliant service. Having contacted a number of pond designers for ideas / costs we were instantly struck by how much more knowledgeable Phil was on the actual construction of the pond. We had originally asked for 1 pond (roughly 100m x 25m) but on his advice due to the slope in the land Phil came up with an alternative design with 2 ponds and connecting waterfall. The end result was fantastic with the added bonus of aeration from the waterfall. His team were superb and were a pleasure to deal with. The work was completed within budget and the estimated time. We now have 2 fantastic ponds with an abundance of wildlife that have attracted a huge range of birds and animals including kingfisher and otter. The fish are thriving and perhaps the biggest complement is that people believe the ponds are natural and had always been there. We have no hesitation in recommending Land and Waterscapes Ltd....

We can provide construction drawings for planning applications and where a full package is required, we also work closely with other specialists such as landscape architects, ecologists and hydrologists to successfully achieve consent for even the most complex projects.
Not all lakes are straight forward earth structures, many will require lining and with a great many years of experience behind us we can provide advice and recommendations as the best method of waterproofing to suit the conditions on a particular site.
It is also common for the work to include certain amounts of engineering such as concrete or timber revetment to create vertical sections of bank or structural timber work for jetties, decks or bridges, all of which we can design and construct ‘in house’.
